The Matrix ‘Job Club’ assists students to acquire the skills and knowledge for finding jobs while they are studying in Australia. The Job Club provides students with:
1. Access to the ‘Job notice board’
This notice board contains approximately 70 job ads and is updated fortnightly. Jobs are divided into categories, including: cleaning, hospitality, fruit picking, events, etc.
2. Weekly workshops
8 week cycle:
Week 1: Preparing CVs
Week 2: Work skills and goals
Week 3: Where to look for work: internet, newspapers,
noticeboards etc
